Metallica India Concert Tickets announced 2011

Hey, here's another update on Metallica's India Concert Tickets 2011. Metallica's newsletter has said the admissions to both the band's (Noida, near Delhi) and Bangalore concerts would be general admissions. The tickets will be sold online on www.ticketgenie.in and www.dnanetworks.com starting from May 4. The price of the dates haven't been announced but I am guessing it could be somewhere around $175 (Indian Rupee Rs. 7, 750 ) to $225 (Indian Rupee Rs 9, 950).

Phew, be thankful that those prices are just my assessment considering that ticket prices for Metallica's concert in Yankee Stadium on September 14, 2011 is priced from $175. But then the Yankee stadium show has Metallica performing with Megadeth, Anthrax and Slayer so the price is heftier. My guess for Metallica's India concert ticket prices starts from around at least 3, 000. I'll keep you updated.

    INR 1600 for Iron Maiden, 1400 for Lamb of God & 1000 for Cradle of Filth, when they all played at Palace Ground, Bangalore. Don't think it will be more than 3k at the max.

    @Siam That's the consensus. Comparatively with Iron Maiden or others of Metallica's contemporaries, the band still commands a bigger PR and record market than any metal band. So if it were to be somewhere more than what Iron Maiden's ticket cost, as you said I am guessing it would be around 2k with 3k at the maximum. Anymore will be a sorry business for the organizers I am convinced :)

    The price of the tickets and the date they go on sale has not been announced

    guys they say that the ticket is for the indian gp as well as the metallica concert and cant be bought separately..........any idea how much that will cost???
